Eudoro Guillen, a second-generation coffee producer in Nicaragua, manages three farms near the Honduras border. Taking over after his father’s passing at 18, he has continued his family's commitment to quality by cultivating the traditional Caturra variety, despite challenges from leaf rust. With his wife Norma and mother Doña Silvia, Eudoro has embraced innovative techniques, like Carbonic Maceration, in partnership with Bridazul and Project Origin. His dedication led to a top score on the Cup of Excellence in 2021, showcasing Nicaragua's specialty coffee potential. His wet mill at Los Pirineos, which recycles water, and environmental practices enhance the unique flavors in his coffee, which is renowned for its quality and sustainability.
